Halloween

Halloween weekend is here and the only problem is that I don't know what I should be for the festivities. I'm thinking maybe I could go as the best interpretation of a celebrity I can pull together or maybe going as a ninja. Both would be pretty fun and relatively easy to pull together on such short notice. I think maybe I should ask  a couple of my friends and head out to Wall-mart or Goodwill and create something easy so that I don't spend a lot of time on it. I love halloween so that I can see everyone's costumes and see what everyone can think up. Hopefully I can think of a really good halloween costume and make really easy so I can have fun this weekend with my friends.

Research Process

In my research process so far I have chosen my group, picked a topic, found sources, and I wrote my proposal. In my group there is Taylor, Jake, and I and we work well together. We work well because we get things done when they need to be done. The sources that we picked work well too because they deal with our topic which is the reformation of the Catholic's contraception policy. In our sources they talk about the current Catholic policy and the argument against that policy. For our proposal we included four of the sources and turned them in online.

The people I am partnering with for the research paper are Taylor Wells and Jake Snider. In deciding what our topic is going to be we have googled and come up with ideas on our own. Three topics that we have narrowed it down to are "Born Gay," "Assisted Suicide," and "Catholic Church's Contraception Policy." These three topics we have figured would give us the most information and ideas to write about.

For "Born Gay" we would be discussing whether or not you are born with your sexual orientation predetermined through biology.

For "Assisted Suicide" our paper would be written about whether or not doctors should be allowed to assist patients with death in times of very poor health.

For "Catholic Church's Contraception Policy" we would write about if the Catholic church should amend the idea of Catholic's not using contraception to control unplanned or unwanted births.

Classes

I've been feeling really neglectful lately but not on purpose. Sadly, this week I missed two Spanish classes and one English class and I haven't been studying well at all for my Spanish and Econ classes. I am having a difficult time preparing for class, also. I just feel like I'm falling behind and it keeps building and spinning out of control into something that is not going to end well, grade-wise. Luckily, I'm catching this now, right before midterms so that I can lock down and do what I need to so I can hopefully get my grades up by the end of the semester. I just feel like time is flying by really quickly and I don't have enough time to get my grades where I want them to be. Hopefully I can take control of the situation and make my grades what I want them to be.
